Roger has just celebrated 14 years as a Pason Field Technician in the West Permian region. He comes to work every day tackling something different, and he especially enjoys the variety in his daily tasks.

“Every day in Pason is different, with different people, rigs, and issues,” Roger said. “There’s always something to learn.”

Before joining Pason, Roger spent 21 years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Weapons System Technician. Due to his time in the military, Roger and his family moved around a lot. His last eight years of military service were spent working with the Belgian Air Force. Roger’s wife also served in the military.

“I retired from the USAF in Europe, and my wife, who was on active duty, got stationed at Minot AFB, ND,” he said. “As I learned about Pason, it was similar to the weapons system on the aircraft. One main brain and all other parts branch out from that.”

That’s where Roger started his career with Pason, eventually moving to the West Permian region.

“When I started Pason in ND, my Dog Partner really instilled in me the team aspect,” Roger said. “And I have continued it here in the West Permian. I have seen a great improvement in the West Permian.”

He takes pride in the team aspect of his work and truly believes that a team mentality is contagious, which benefits both the Pason team and our customers. Outside of work, Roger's main focus is on family.

“I have a son living in Fargo, ND, a stepson stationed in Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan and a 16-year-old daughter in Florida,” he said.

He is also a fitness enthusiast. He finds solace in working out, whether it's lifting weights or doing cardio. He even participated in Spartan Mud Runs at one point and is looking forward to getting back into them soon!
